Have you ever dreamed of going to film school and just leaving your regular life in the dust for a life of lenses, deep focus and the ability to differentiate early Kurosawa and late Kurosawa films? I subscribe to Hulu+ for that very reason, they have nearly the entire Criterion Collection available to stream commercial free. The Criterion Collection has been called film school in a box, now have it in your pocket.

IT'S WHAT'S INSIDE THAT COUNTS

My Mac Book goes everywhere with me and that's an understatement. I also like to adorn it with stickers from some of my favorite brands and organizations like Vans, Surfrider Foundation, Circle City Hotrods, and Sids Tattoo.
2. KLEAN KANTEEN CLASSIC WITH SPILL PROTECTOR:
I really love this company, from what they have done as a business to shift the tide socially, and also from a branding sense. When people think stainless water bottles, they think Klean Kanteen.
3.ALMOND OIL DAILY HAND & NAIL CREAM BY THE BODY SHOP:
Not so tough but essential. Cruelty free, double-plus.

I LOVE MY (TOY)CAR
If you're a follower of the Seatbelt Blog you probably already know the back story for how we came up with the bag. It involves a mid-century Buick, some leftover seatbelt and the rest is history. We at Harveys are in love with all things automotive. From old hot rods to the innovative Tesla, we find inspiration from the combination of something rugged and tough yet also sleek and sexy. My biggest inspiration, though, would have to be my little girls and playing blocks and cars and even make-up has become a way funner hobby then tinkering in the garage. I stumbled across this great Kickstarter for MO-TO Heirloom Wood Cars. They have brilliantly combined my three favorite things: mid-century design, classic cars, and play. Check them out and back their Kickstarter campaign if you dig the concept as much as me.
Here are a few vintage toy cars from my collection on display in my office. As you can see they have been well played with.

OUT ON THE TOWN: BOOKMAN
Over the weekend we headed out to The Bookman Used Books. This little gem located in Orange is the best bookstore around. We head here all the time to get inspired by the huge collection of out of print and rare books ranging from Art & Design to Military History and everything in between.
Don't judge the Bookman by its cover---it's filled to the brim with treasures.
He's probably reading Camus.
As soon as you walk in on your right you'll find a wall of Art, Design, and Fashion Books.

HARVEYS AT D23 EXPO
HARVEYS will be at D23 Disney Expo this Friday through Sunday. We are giving away a special gift with purchase D23 Sorcerer Tote when you spend $100 on our HARVEYS D23 Collection available only in the Dream Store inside the heart of the Expo. The design team will also be heading out tomorrow to get inspired, we made a really exclusive, limited to 5 pieces, pair of HARVEYS Minnie Ears and we will be rocking those. This was a special pet project for the team and all of them are spoken for except #5 so follow us on instagram if you aren't already and be on the look out for updates on possibly winning the lucky last pair of ears.
