It's Paul J. from the Harveys sales crew.

I wanted to tell you about a really fun event we had at Ear Abstracts this past Saturday.

Ear Abstracts is located in Yorba Linda California and carries a huge selection of Harveys seatbeltbags, 

as well as clothing, Jewelry, Home Decor and much more.

We saw lots of familiar faces and old seatbeltbag favorites.

Haven't seen a Rugby bag for a long time. Love the Peoni Lola, Hui.

There were lots of prizes and lots of very happy winners.

Halloween at the Harveys!

We just finished putting up all of our Halloween Decorations at home.

We got these flying bats from Paper Source. My son Dana Jr works at the South Coast Plaza location. They have tons of different projects and workshops there. It's one of my favorite stores.

We got this Nightmare Before Christmas picture box from Disneyland several years ago. The characters are actually individual metal pins.

The Flying Witch streamer was also from Paper Source

Melanie has a bunch of mini Holiday trees, one for each Holiday Season. She picked up this one last year.

Now we're all ready for Halloween and the LTD release party.

"Get Checked" comes out tomorrow. $75 from the sale of each bag goes directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Fashion Night Out- Los Angeles

Hello everyone! Christopher here again!

On behalf of Harveys Melrose, we'd like to say a HUGE "THANK YOU" to everyone that came out to our store last Friday to celebrate Fashion Night Out! We had a blast, and we hope you all did too! It was wonderful to see some familiar faces, as well as meet some new friends!

All the stores on our block threw fun events at their stores also, and we managed to grab a handful of great photos! Thanks for sipping some bubbly with us and making some rad buttons!

Can't wait to see you all again at the next event!

Black Label Wallet

The Black Label Men's wallet has been my favorite wallet, ever since we came out with it. A lot of you have been requesting them in prints so we made up these to test them out.

I thought I'd trade out my black one for the Sid, Tooled leather Print. I love it so far. What do you guys and gals think?

Fashion Night Out- Los Angeles

Hi everyone!

It's me Christopher, Store Manager @ HARVEYS Melrose.

I wanted to give you a peep indside a very special event coming to LA. tomorrow 

night Sept 10th @6:00pm.

It's sponsored by VOGUE and it's called Fashion Night Out. 

It normally takes place in NEW YORK CITY but this Year it's coming to LA and HARVEYS 

was invited to participate along with a host of other awesome Brands like Johnny 

Cupcakes, Tarina Tarintino, Paul Frank, Betsy Johnson, Tokidoki, and a whole bunch

more.

The whole city will be Buzzing with activity. 

Stop by HARVEYS and say Hi, enjoy a glass of bubbly with me and Harveys Melrose 

crew, pick up some candy (the store will be doused in it) and make some cool custom 

buttons for your bags then pop over and say hi to our neighbors!

Doggie Bow Tote

Guapo thinks the Dottie Bow Tote suits him quite well

Addrienne, our Website manager, rescued Guapo a couple of weeks ago when she found him wandering the streets. Now he gets to come to work with her every day. BTW, Guapo means handsome in Spanish. 

Shop Korea

Our Korean Partners, CNY, have just opened another Shop which brings their total to 3 HARVEYS stores in Korea. That's just as many as we have here in the USA. For our Korean customers that are tuning in, Thanks for the support.

Happy Labor Day

Labor day for most marks the end of Summer and a chance to spend time with family and friends.
Please also take a moment to reflect on the labor rights that we have accomplished here in The USA: 

We have a 5 day/ 40 hour work week and a minimum wage (These were first adopted by Henry Ford) 

We have abolished Child Labor (in 1938 Federal Laws were passed that required children to be in school)

And Women have equal rights in the workplace.

These things are important to us at HARVEYS". Being "Built in the USA" is a privilege that we don't
take lightly and we couldn't do it without your support. Thank You.

First Friday September 2010

I really love First Fridays. When we design a new bag it takes about 1 year until it's released to you. It's 

like waiting for someone to open a present that you've spent all year making. We're so excited for all the 

new bags this month. We brought back the black and white polka dot print, an all-new diaper bag and by 

popular demand the medium Scully Rope Tote.

The black and white polka dot has always been one of my faves. This time around we've added bows 

and rosettes.

The all-new diaper bag is available in Black, Red and Treecycle and it even comes with straps to attach 

to your stroller. Comes with a free Harveys Teddy Bear (while supplies last).

And last but not least the Medium Scully Rope Tote.

Ahoy there Mateys

Thanks to everyone that sent in their Pirate names. We had over 800 submissions with some very fun names. Some sounded very scary and some not so scary. I hope you had as much fun as we did.
