We have a lot of fun things planned for Patchwork this year one of which is Button Making.
Here's a step by step of how it's done:
These are all the components that go into making the Button Mirrors. BTW all of the components and machines are made in the USA.
Step 1: Create a Custom Design
Step 2: Use the die cutter to punch out the Custom Design
Step 3: Place the Button Shell, Custom Design and Protective Film in the machine then set them in place with the press.
Step 4: Place the Trim Ring, mirror and Spacer in the machine then press onto the button shell
...and BAM! you have a custom Button (in this case a pocket mirror).
We'll have some all-new HARVEYS/ Patchwork designs for you to choose from to make a Pin-button or pocket mirror. These will be given out free at patchwork.
I've had a lot of requests from "non-local" fans to be able to participate in the silent auction at Patchwork.
I've been trying to think of a way to make this happen but haven't come up with anything that seems like it would work but I'm open to suggestions.
