Big Diesel

We often talk about the Airstream but the unsung hero that's hauling it around is my trusty Ford F250 that I call Big Diesel.

After the 3,000+ mile road trip it was time for an oil change. I like to do oil changes myself. Not only is it cheaper but I can be sure the job is done right and I use the best quality products.

It's actually easier than you think. Just drain the old oil, replace the oil filter, refill with new oil and you're done. It takes me about 20 minutes. 30 minutes if the girls help, which they did today.

A couple of years ago I converted to BIO DIESEL. I get it from a friend who makes it in his garage from recycled Vegetable Oil, mostly from fast food restaurants. I even bring him my old motor oil which he recycles into Diesel also.
