Craftcation is the brainchild of Random Nicole and Delilah Snell, (who are also responsible for Patchwork) and was held in the beautiful City of Ventura, California. It was a weekend long event from March 22-25 and included anything and everything to do with Crafting.
It was based at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, right on the Beach but included several other venues throughout Ventura, including the beautiful City Hall Building, in downtown.
Melanie and I were invited to be guest speakers for the workshop on "Start-up Businesses"
It was great meeting all of the aspiring small business owners and hearing their stories.
This dinner event was held in Ventura's Artist Village.
There were tons of classes and workshops for do-it-yourselfers, like me.

Sewing.
Card Making and Scrapbooking.
Button Making
It was a crafter's Paradise.
And there was even an awesome goodie bag for all of the attendees.
If you love crafting, you would love Craftcation. This was the very first one but don't worry, it was such a huge success that they are already planning the next Craftcation 2013.
